VaNnucci artist residency

Founded by The Deighton Family Foundation, the Vannucci Artist Residency (VAR) is dedicated to advancing the work of visual artists at crucial stages of their careers, to expanding their networks and opportunities and to promoting cultural and artistic exchange.

VAR aims to advance the practice of emerging and mid-career artists through experience, inspiration and exposure. Artists are invited to reside up to six weeks in the Italian medieval town of Citta della Pieve in the Umbrian hills bordering Tuscany. The residency creates an ongoing relationship with its alumni through an established circle of advisors and mentors and via a programme of exhibitions and events in Italy and elsewhere.
